Creating Proposals & Tiered Packages

Guide for the Proposal Templates module.

Gig Central's Proposal Templates allow you to create interactive web proposals that let event planners choose their speaking package, accelerating contract confirmations.

This guide covers building templates, packaging pricing options, and tracking proposal views.

1. Creating Proposal Templates

  1. Navigate to Documents > Proposal Templates.
  2. Click New Template and use the block builder to add text, videos, headshots, and speaker testimonials.
  3. Add the Pricing Tier Block to build package options (e.g., Keynote Package, Half-Day Workshop, VIP advisory bundle).

2. Interactive Client Selection

When you send a proposal web link to an event planner:

  • The planner views a mobile-responsive web proposal showing options.
  • The planner selects a package option and clicks Accept Proposal.
  • Selecting an option updates the budget inside your Kanban CRM and moves the gig card to the "Contracting" stage.

3. How It Works (Behind the Scenes)

  • Template Rendering: The document engine parses template variables, pulling details like names and dates. See Rich Text Variables for configuration details.
  • Activity Logs: If a client opens the proposal, the system logs the event on your activity timeline.

4. Structuring Tiered Packages

  • Offer Three Options: Provide a base option, a recommended middle option, and a premium bundle.
  • Keep Benefits Clear: List bullet points for each tier (e.g., "Includes 50 complimentary books" or "Post-event follow-up call").
