Gig Central's E-Signatures allow you to compile, send, and execute legally binding agreements, eliminating paper signatures.
This guide walks you through setting up contracts and signature logging.
1. Creating Contract Templates
- Navigate to Documents > Contract Templates.
- Click Create Template and paste your speaking agreement text (e.g., performance terms, AV setup, cancellation rules).
- Insert placeholders like
{{event_date}}or{{pricing_fee}}to merge details automatically. - Add signature fields at the bottom of the template.
2. Sending Contracts to Planners
When a gig reaches contracting stages:
- Generate the contract from your template. The system merges details from the CRM card.
- The contract displays inside the Client Operations Portal.
- The coordinator signs the contract directly on the screen.
- Once signed, the system saves the finalized PDF and transitions the gig stage in the CRM.
3. How It Works (Behind the Scenes)
- Signature Audit Logs: The signature event logs metadata in the database, verifying the identity of the signer and generating an audit log.
- Finalized PDF Compilation: The engine compiles the agreement into a PDF file, locking the contents to prevent unauthorized updates.
4. Linking Contracts and Payments
You can set up workflows to connect contracts and invoicing:
- Required Deposits: Require planners to pay their deposit invoice via Stripe Billing before they can sign the agreement.
- Automated Stage Shifts: Signing the agreement automatically moves the gig card to the next CRM stage.
